First Impact Report published
Results from our first Impact Report, looking at the impact on participants completing our online course for adults, show a statistically significant positive impact on participants' relationship to the menstrual cycle and increase in their confidence to talk about their cycle to healthcare professionals.
The Impact Report, compiled by NHS-approved data analysis company, Meaningful Measures Ltd, concluded that
"the course has enabled people to become more aware of their menstrual cycle, have more confidence to talk about their menstrual cycle with clinicians, and have more knowledge to chart their cycle and adapt their life according to the different phases".
Meaningful Measures Ltd is led by leaders in the international social prescribing movement Dr Marie Polley and Dr Helen Seers.
The findings from the report were announced in Parliament at an event today (21 March 2024) with an address from the Women's Health Ambassador, Dame Lesley Regan, to mark the launch of our Menstrual Cycle Support - for teens course, in partnership with menstrual health charity, Endometriosis UK.
Research into the impact of the course is ongoing and we are committed to publishing an Impact Report every 12-18 months.
