During your appointment, ask your healthcare professional to refer you to the course for free. They can do this by completing the 30 second referral form on this site (available from 1 Feb 2025). As soon as they've submitted the form, they'll be able to immediately give you a Patient Access Code.

What is 'social prescribing'?
'Social Prescribing' is the opportunity for healthcare professionals to refer patients to trusted non-medical activities
Most surgeries in the UK now have a social prescriber available to support you.
If you are making an appointment specifically to ask for a referral to the free Menstrual Cycle Support course, we recommend that you make an appointment with your GP surgery's 'social prescriber'. Often you can make an appointment with the social prescriber through an online form on your GP surgery website, they are trained to support you.
